Letter from the Secretary-General

A message to all participants from URMUN25’s Secretary-General, Daphne Nnebeife.

Dear Delegates, Staff, and Guests,

On behalf of the University of Regina Model United Nations (URMUN), it is my distinct pleasure to extend a warm invitation to you for our inaugural conference, URMUN25, to be held from March 20th to 23rd, 2025. This year marks a significant milestone as we embark on our journey to transform the future of diplomacy under the theme “Fostering Collaboration and Understanding in a Complex World.

URMUN is founded upon principles of collaboration, diplomacy, and global citizenship. We believe in harnessing the power of dialogue and debate to address the most pressing issues facing our world today. As delegates, you will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions, negotiate solutions, and forge friendships that transcend borders.

The University of Regina takes immense pride in hosting its first Model United Nations conference, demonstrating our commitment to fostering future leaders in international affairs.
