Registration

Whether you are registering as an individual or a group delegation, signing up is easy and straightforward for URMUN25!

Registration Information

What is an Independent Delegate?

What is a Group Delegation?

URMUN allows individuals to register either independently or as part of a school delegation. If you register as an individual delegate, you or your parent/guardian/custodian must take full responsibility for your conference registration, fees, and attendance. While your parent/guardian/custodian are not required to be present at the conference, the individuals listed as your primary and secondary [parent/guardian/custodian] contacts must be reachable during the event in case of any issues or emergencies.

As an individual delegate, you will also serve as a ‘Head Delegate’ and are required to attend the ‘Head Delegate & Faculty Sessions’ hosted by the Secretariat throughout the conference. To apply, individual delegates must complete the Delegate Registration form.

Group delegations consist of two or more delegates who register together, typically as Model United Nations teams. If you register as a group delegation for URMUN25, at least one Head Delegate or faculty member must accompany your delegation.

URMUN25 requires a Head Delegate, teacher adviser, or faculty member for group delegations. This individual will be responsible for attending the ‘Head Delegate & Faculty Sessions’ hosted by the Secretariat throughout the conference. The Head Delegate, teacher adviser, or faculty member must register on behalf of their delegation before individual delegates from their delegation can complete their registration process.

There is no maximum delegation size—you are welcome to bring as many delegates as you wish.

Simply follow the straightforward registration process to secure your spot at URMUN25!

How to Register for URMUN25

An Individual Delegate Registration Form and a Delegation Registeration Form will be posted on our website on July 31st, 2024.

  • For Group Delegations:
    • Your Faculty Advisor/Head Delegate will be responsible for filling out the Delegation Registration Form on behalf of the entire delegation. This form will collect delegation contact information and approximate size.
    • Once our Registration team confirms this registration, your school/institution will be successfully registered for URMUN25 and will be added as an option for delegates on the Individual Delegate Registration Form.
    • Your delegates may then fill out the Individual Delegate Registration Form, indicating their delegation affiliation and committee preferences.
  • For Independent Delegates:
    • You may directly fill out the Individual Delegate Registration Form, indicating your status as an Independent Delegate, committee preferences, and payment confirmation.

Please note that URMUN25 is a conference exclusively for high school delegates (from grades 10 to 12) and undergraduate delegates. Each Highschool Delegation can have a maximum of 5% Grade 10 students and the remaining 95% Grade 11 & 12.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Can we register more delegates than the approximate amount we state on the Registration form?

For sure! The Delegation Registeration form requests that Faculty Advisors or Head Delegates indicate an approximate number of delegates which will be a part of the delegation, but we understand that the number is tentative. Feel free to register more or less delegates than the approximate number indicated on the Delegation Registeration form!
